THE CDA SCHOOL DISTRICT IS ASKING VOTERS TO APPROVE TWO LEVIES ON MARCH 14, 2023
$25M/year....FOREVER (or until $25M isn’t enough)
Equates to $95.21/$100,000 assessed property value.
SUPPLEMENTAL LEVY pays for ONLY the first payment of items that have continuous fees: MORE curriculum & applicable licenses, new staffing, software, more teacher compensation, etc. This levy will be ON TOP of the $330M Governor Little earmarked for school districts and teacher’s salaries.
SUPPLEMENTAL LEVY
SCHOOL PLANT FACILITIES LEVY (SPFL)
$5M/year for 5 years
Equates to $19.00/$100,000 assessed property value.
SPFL LEVY is the same levy that the voters REJECTED in August, 2022 but the school district is asking for the money again.
